2011 IP Changes
Update Regarding IP Address Changes – 12/19/2011
As explained in the notifications sent previously, which are included below, the IP addresses associated with the iTransact gateway were changed last week.
Included in last week’s email messages was notification that the source IP address for our outgoing traffic is also changing. Tomorrow, December 20, 2011, at 1:00 PM MST, all outbound traffic will originate from the new IP address, which is:
208.87.135.25
This is pertinent to you only if you are using the Return Address (ret_addr) function AND you have internal firewalls that are restricting traffic to your servers. If you do have internal firewalls that are performing this function, please ensure that they are allowing traffic from this IP address.

Update: Important IP Address Changes – 12/16/2011
As explained in the notification included below, today we changed the IP addresses associated with the following domains:
gateway.itransact.com
secure.itransact.com
secure.paymentclearing.com
We realize that there was short notice, and we are taking steps to minimize any impact that this change may have. The new IP addresses and the old (current) IP addresses will be run in parallel for several days. This should be long enough for all DNS servers to acquire the new set of IP addresses. The old IP addresses will be disabled by our former provider on December 20th or 21st.
If you are using either our standard form or split form, you do not need to take any action.
If you are using any API features such as XML, there is a possibility that you could experience connectivity issues once the old IP addresses are disabled. If you have any processes that cache DNS entries, you will need to restart these services. For example, any system written in Java will cache DNS entries by default. Please restart these services now.
Here are the new IP addresses with their associated domain names:
208.87.135.6 – gateway.itransact.com
208.87.135.7 – secure.itransact.com
208.87.135.8 – secure.paymentclearing.com
Please note that the source IP address of our outgoing traffic has also changed. If you have firewalls configured to allow traffic from us, please begin including the new IP address, which is 208.87.135.25.
